For the last few years this story has been somewhat under the radar, but those who know about it tend to understand the high level of emotion that has gone into this case. Bradley Manning leaked a very large number of military documents I Wikileaks, and has since been help captive, often in solitary confinement, and reportedly in rather harsh conditions.

I have mixed feelings about leaks generally, but I believe that this young man was trying to do the right thing. Exposing senseless crimes against innocent people is a good thing…

He was found innocent on the charge of aiding the enemy, however he was found guilty on at least 19 other charges and is likely facing life in prison:
