People all over the world have their “vices” (no pun intended in regards to the news agency), but economics play into the risks and costs of those vices. In poorer areas the vices often tend to be more dangerous, and with so much of the continent of Africa being so poor there are a lot of dangerous coping mechanisms that people rely on. As I believe that people are simply people all over the world I find myself being overwhelmingly curious as to why different problems are so regionally dominated. If you or I would have been born in one of these villages what would our lives look like?
